Rockwall Code Enforcement Officer Robert Wysinger won the CEAT Idol contest at the Code Enforcement Association of Texas conference in Abilene recently, beating out seven other contestants.
The Downtown Farmer's Market opens May 2 in the parking area of the historic courthouse, and it will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon through September 26.

Did you know that in the summer time, over 50% of our landfills are filled with leaves? Leaves are a source of nutrition for soil and plants. Leaves act as a soil conditioner and can help hold water in sandy soils. The class is taught by Sara Beckelman, a Master Composter, who is registered with the state and has taught many composting classes throughout the Metroplex.
